Summer Wedding at Arrowhead Golf Club in Littleton
It was a beautiful evening in early summer. I don’t always get a photo of the mother of the bride with her daughter, but I did here. Charming! The unity ceremony included a symbolic hearth — a symbol of a home with a warm center. Everyone was happy, and the setting was stunning. I used this to advantage in opening the ceremony: “Where the plains kiss the mountains, and all is ready for the flowering of the hills…landscape and season join us in celebrating a happy union.”

A Handfasting
For a couple that chose to elope and have a very private wedding out of the country, I wrote a simple but beautiful handfasting ceremony near their home when they returned. They made the handfasting cord themselves and told me that they felt the ceremony was very meaningful.

We honored a milestone birthday for Wanda by holding a Croning Ceremony. The ceremony included her life story and a simple ceremony crowning her with ribbons representing her entrance into her wisdom years.
